This site has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The only information I get is what you choose to send me, and I use it to get back to you, and to send you my occasional newsletter if you’d like it. Here’s the whole picture.

WHAT I COLLECT

When you send a message from the contact page, I get your name, your email, your company if you add one, and your message.

When you send a brief from the project estimator, I get your name, your email, your company, any note or budget you add, your conversation with the estimator, the estimate it wrote, and the file name of any PDF you shared.

Both also note the country your request came from. I don’t store your IP address.

HOW I USE IT

To read what you sent, reply to you and get ready for our conversation. I don’t sell it or share it with anyone for their marketing.

Both forms have a box that reads “Send me the occasional note on brand, design and AI.” It starts checked. If you leave it checked, I add your first name and email to my newsletter list in Kit. If you uncheck it, you won’t be added. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list.

WHO HELPS

Cloudflare hosts the site, keeps messages and briefs in its database, checks the contact form for spam bots and limits how often a form can be sent.

Resend delivers your message and your brief to my inbox, and sends you a short note that it arrived.

Kit runs my newsletter, so it keeps your first name and email if you leave the newsletter box checked.

Anthropic’s Claude powers the project estimator. What you type there, and any PDF you share, goes to Claude so it can write your estimate. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, it isn’t used to train their models.

Adobe Fonts serves the typefaces, so your browser loads them from Adobe.

PDFS

A PDF you share with the estimator is read to write your estimate and isn’t saved. I keep only its file name with your brief.

YOUR BROWSER

The site remembers a few settings in your browser: light or dark, sans or serif, and the Visual or Reading view on case studies. The estimator keeps your conversation in the tab until you close it. None of that is sent to me, and there are no tracking cookies.

HOW LONG

I keep messages and briefs while they’re useful for our conversation or our work together, then delete them. Ask anytime and I’ll delete yours sooner. You stay on the newsletter list until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove you.
