(02) FAQ 13 QUESTIONS

questions, answered.

  1. Essential ($1,200) is the foundation: a strategy brief that defines your audience, positioning and personality, two mood boards, two logo concepts with two rounds of changes, a primary logo with alternate versions, a color palette and type pairing, a brand guide for the web, and every file you need, plus brand.md.

Core ($2,500) adds a competitor audit with a positioning map, a third mood board and logo concept, patterns and supporting graphics, full brand guidelines, a social media launch kit with posts and profile images, and an editable Figma brand kit.

  2. Essential is ready in 2 to 3 weeks and Core in 4 to 6 weeks. The clock starts once we’ve agreed on scope and I have what I need from you. Custom projects get their own timeline when we scope them.

  3. Your logos in SVG, PNG and PDF, in color and in black and white, organized so anyone on your team can find the right one. You also get your guidelines and brand.md.

Core adds the editable Figma brand kit, so your team can keep building with the system after we’re done.

  4. A plain-text file that describes your brand in a way developers and AI tools can use: colors, type and logo rules, written as tokens and short rules. Drop it into a codebase or an AI assistant and what it makes stays on brand. It comes with every package.

  5. How to use your logo, colors and type on the web: clear space and minimum sizes, color pairings that pass accessibility contrast, type sizes, and what not to do.

Core’s full brand guidelines go further, with your patterns, supporting graphics and layout examples.

  6. That’s a Custom project: web and app design and development, pitch decks, social assets, illustration and more. Tell the estimator about it for a rough budget and timeline, and I’ll scope it with you.

  7. AI is part of how I work. It helps me explore more directions, faster. But a brand is a set of decisions: what to say, what to leave out, and what will still feel right in five years.

AI expands what gets explored. Creative direction decides what gets shipped.

  8. The logo is the smallest part. What you’re getting is a system: mark, type, color and rules that work together, so every page, post and pitch looks like it came from the same company. That consistency is what people remember.

  9. You can always find cheaper, and you can always find bigger. With me you get a senior creative director who has led national brands and products, working with you directly from the first call to the final files, at a fixed price and without agency overhead.

  10. First impressions happen whether you’re ready or not. A clear brand early makes everything after it easier: the website, the deck, the hiring page. Rebranding later usually costs more, because by then there’s more to change.

  11. We agree on a direction with mood boards before I draw a single logo, so there are no surprises. Then you see your logo concepts and get two rounds of changes to refine the one you choose.

  12. Press Start now on a package. It opens a short form with the package already filled in. I read every message myself and reply with next steps, timing and how payment works.

  13. The final files and full rights to use them, with no ongoing fees.
